Our team is highly collaborative working with Engineering, Product Management, and CX to define, build, and deliver world class solutions. Your Impact This Cisco SE position is responsible leading the technical engagement of AI networking on one of the most influential companies in the world. You should be highly accomplished with the network design of SP, Cloud, or DC networks. Additionally, you should have extensive experience with the Hardware Architecture of ASIC’s and Systems, SONiC, RDMA, HPC networking, Routing Protocols, QoS, SDN, Whitebox Trends, and Telemetry. Key traits for this role include: Ability to establish trust and credibility through technical excellence Engage with the customer stakeholders and drive business outcomes Take initiative and demonstrate a customer focused, service first attitude Be a change agent – constructively express the need for innovation and change Learn quickly and stay current with industry changes Lead by example – demonstrate excellence in thoughts, speech, action and attitude Link architectural vision to account strategy Joint development of a strategic account plan - Create/maintain competitive heat maps and architecture/roadmaps, customer business reviews (CBRs) and relationship maps Willingness to take risks, make mistakes, and learn/recover/share Demonstrate ability to executing on "why Cisco” Minimum Qualifications: ~7+ years experience in HPC (AI, Storage, Cloud) DC networking ~ BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent experience ~ Knowledgeable and conversant about Cisco, competitors, technologies, AI networking solutions, product strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats ~ Ability to understand complex technical and selling situations and the ability to tackle the problem or solicit the required resources ~ Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, negotiation, and presentation skills Preferred Qualifications: CCIE very desirable Competitive product/solutions experience Experience in coding or software development Operational experience in an HPC datacenter network Presentation Skills, Workshop Facilitation, White boarding Skills, etc. At Cisco, we’re revolutionizing how data and infrastructure connect and protect organizations in the AI era – and beyond.
