Description We are offering an opportunity for a Senior Tax Accountant in Sacramento, California, United States. This role is crucial in managing relationships with clients and handling various accounting tasks within our organization. Responsibilities: - Manage and build relationships with clients. - Oversee and perform accounting and bookkeeping tasks. - Utilize QuickBooks for various financial operations. - Handle inquiries related to tax, payroll, and sales for small businesses. - Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications. - Maintain and update customer credit records regularly. - Show initiative in anticipating and resolving potential problems. - Exercise good judgment and decision-making skills in handling customer accounts. - Prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively and independently. - Implement month-end close procedures for customer accounts. Requirements - Must hold a relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - Proven experience as a Tax Accountant, Tax Analyst, or Tax Preparer - Experience with Month End Close process is required - Strong bookkeeping skills are necessary - Must have knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of tax returns - Excellent analytical and time management skills - Strong numeracy and mathematical abilities - Proficiency in MS Office and good knowledge of relevant software and databases - Keen attention to detail is essential - Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems - Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, both written and oral - Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team - Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
