Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a PC Technician in the Information Technology industry, located in Beverly Hills, California. The individual will primarily be engaged in confirming end-points post network VLAN cutovers and auxiliary tasks during downtime. Responsibilities: - Confirm and validate end-points such as IP phones, computers, printers, Chromeboxes, etc. following network VLAN cutovers - During periods of downtime, assist with tasks like equipment inventory and relocation - Engage in the imaging process as required - Display proficiency in using PC Hardware, PC Desktop - Workstation, PC Skills, Routers, Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server, and Data General - Maintain an accurate inventory of equipment and ensure their effective utilization - Provide assistance in maintaining and updating Macintosh systems as necessary - Be involved in the management and resolution of issues related to Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server. Requirements - Proficient in Macintosh operating systems and applications - Advanced understanding of PC Hardware, including installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance - Extensive experience with PC Desktop - Workstation, including setup, configuration, and management - Demonstrated PC Skills, including proficiency in various software and applications - Familiarity with Routers, including setup, troubleshooting, and network configuration - Proficiency in using Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server for collaborative work - Knowledge of Data General systems, including operation and maintenance.
