We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee our lobbying and government relations teams. This senior-level position will be responsible for managing and coordinating multiple teams of lobbyists and attorneys working on state and federal advocacy campaigns.
Core Responsibilities
Working Environment
Bachelor's degree in business, political science, public administration, or related field
7+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in lobbying, government affairs, or public policy
Understanding of legislative and regulatory processes at state and federal levels
Knowledge of compliance requirements related to lobbying activities
Experience managing remote teams
Proven track record of successfully managing teams and complex projects
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong leadership abilities with experience managing professionals
Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
Proficiency with project management tools and reporting systems
Ability to prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Advanced degree (MBA, JD, or MPA)
Previous experience in a consulting or professional services firm
Salary range: $250,000 - $300,000 (variable dependent upon experience)
Discretionary performance-based bonus
