Coilmen Plus Inc. is a privately owned company founded in 1999. Since opening, the company has become a trusted name in the industry supplying custom manufactured heat transfer components to contractors and end users for new construction and retrofit projects. We service Northern and Southern California and parts of Arizona, Nevada and Idaho. Our sales and engineering team has in excess of 50 years of experience in design manufacturing and application of the components we sell. We currently have one HVAC Inside Sales Engineer opening available for a driven, career oriented individual to join our team!

We are seeking a motivated and technically proficient Inside Sales Engineer to support our sales team in delivering customized heat exchanger solutions within the HVAC industry. In this role, you will act as a key liaison between customers, manufacturers, and our external sales team, providing technical support, pricing, and proposals that meet project specifications and timelines.

Primary Duties Include:

• Maintain expert level of product knowledge and applications. 

• Demonstrate understanding of the customer’s needs while addressing operational and environmental objectives, needs and requirements. 

• Analyze mechanical plans, specifications, and submittals to determine appropriate product selections and solutions.

• Prepare detailed project quotations, submittal packages, and proposals based on client needs and engineering best practices.

• Coordinate with external sales representatives, vendors, and engineering teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of information and products.

• Assist with order entry, project tracking, and post-sale support including change orders, documentation, and customer follow-up.

• Maintain CRM and project management systems with updated quotes, communications, and customer data.

• Stay current on product knowledge, industry trends, and new technologies relevant to HVAC systems and heat transfer equipment.

• Provide occasional technical training or presentations to clients and team members.

• Ensure engineering standards of quality, cost, safety, timeliness and performance are met. 

• Maintain customer satisfaction and high level of credibility. 

• Follow up with internal and external contacts in a timely manner.

• Maintain a high level of business ethics at all times that include the protection of proprietary information.

• Manage warehouse and delivery of coils from suppliers. 

• Coordinate delivery of coils to customers. 

• Occasional travel to job sites to survey and measure for coil drafting and calculating. 

• Assist in project management of jobs as needed. 

• Perform other duties as assigned by Sales Team and Manager. 

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year sales experience.

• B.A. in Engineering- Industrial or Mechanical Preferred. 

• Technical sales experience preferred.

• Knowledge of HVAC systems, heat exchangers, and mechanical equipment fundamentals.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office. 

• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

• Must possess unrestricted work authorization.

• Transportation to and from work and job sites.

• Successful passing of background and drug screen.
