Position Type: Full-Time Pay Range: Starting at $28.00 per hour The Grand Healthcare is seeking a Director of Recreation to join our team at our skilled nursing facility. Key Responsibilities: * Plan & Lead Recreation Programs: Design, organize, implement, and evaluate engaging activity programs that cater to the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents. * Staffing & Leadership: Assess departmental staffing needs and assign sufficient activity personnel for each shift, ensuring the highest standard of service. * Training & Development: Lead in-service training programs that equip your team with the skills needed to deliver exceptional activities and care. * Equipment & Supplies: Oversee the ordering and maintenance of equipment and supplies, ensuring everything is operational and available when needed. * Collaboration: Build and maintain strong working relationships with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure a holistic, person-centered approach to resident care.
