Position Overview:

Are you passionate about leadership, team development, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences? Chick-fil-A Coliseum Blvd. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Shift Leader to join our team. As a Front of House Shift Leader, you will play a crucial role in overseeing FOH operations. Shift Leaders set expectations for the team in terms of goals, (sales, transactions, speed of service, order accuracy, etc.) and overall positive tone of the shift. Shift Leaders care for their team members by providing them with clear expectations, accountability, servant leadership and providing the necessary resources to perform tasks correctly. Shift leaders work closely with Team Leaders to ensure each shift provides Team Members the information and expectations they need to serve Guests well.

Responsibilities:

• Cash Handling/Inform
• Assign positions to team members for each shift
• Scheduling breaks
• Review with Team Leaders completion of daily tasks in respective areas
• Enforcement of appearance, attitude, & operational requirements
• Goal setting
• Culture setting
• Initial point of contact for Catering Inquiries, Guest Feedback, and Vendor Relations
• Offer in-the-moment feedback for team members

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a leadership role within a quick-service restaurant.
• Strong understanding of food safety
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to Chick-fil-A's standards and procedures.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to lift objects 10-30lbs as needed.
• Ability to navigate shelving units both high and low.
• ServSafe/ServSafe Manager certification or other food safety certifications a plus.

*Full-time Front-of-House Shift Leader starts at $20/hr for a 30-day probationary period. Upon the end of the 30-day probationary period, if the employee meets company expectations as outlined in the offer letter, employment will continue and pay will raise to $21/hr.
